munki munki sampler pack

A customer asked me to put together some smaller cuts of the Munki Munki so they didn't have to purchase each piece separately. I came up with the Sampler Pack. Charm Packs wouldn't work with some of the Munki prints since some of them are larger prints and it would be hard to get a lot of the print in a 5 inch square. The sampler packs you get a little bigger piece so you can still fussy cut those cute designs! Each piece is approx 8 X 11 and are cut from the backs and leg panels. Some are a bit bigger and some are a little smaller.

The first one is the Winter sampler pack. I'll be working on putting some more together soon! Do you notice my cute new twine? I was soo excited to see Ryan selling them in his Etsy shop when I was searching for some for the holiday toadstools! Such a cute addition to my packages!!

Hope everyone is having a super spectacular Holiday season! We have some family coming into town tomorrow, so I better get back to cleaning. :)

holiday toadstools~ free pattern!

Have you seen these cute little mushrooms, Cathy designed? I fell in love with them when I saw them on her flickr page months ago, and now they are in the cutest book Fa la la la Felt, by Lark books as an ornament pattern.

Amanda Carestio the Author and editorial assistant at Lark emailed me with the pattern since she was my partner for the place mat swap last summer, and thought I would enjoy making them. She also mentioned that I can pass them along to anyone else that would like them since Lark books is giving the holiday toadstools pattern for free. Either you can email me (just leave a comment with your email address), and I can email you one or feel free to use the link to be able to download it yourself.

There are many more fun, and adorable projects in Fa la la la Felt, you can purchase as an ebook for only $14.95. The books will be coming out in August. I have the cute little Christmas trees on my list for sure, and of course love how Cathy made them in red and aqua and to top it off they have cute little mushrooms on them! Can't get any better than that!! :)

Also, make sure to stop on over to Heather blog, as she is having wonderful Christmas giveaway of some fabrics, and some jewelry from Leigh's etsy shop!

a gorgeous gnome and girl pillow!

I received the most wonderful package yesterday, the sweetest pillow from Amy! I literally squealed when I saw it, when I realized it was mine, the one I was sooo hoping for! After being sick all day, it was the best thing to lift my spirits!! The best part is knowing that Amy put so much thought into this pillow, I am completely breathless! From every fabric choice, to the little girl holding the gnome that she had MultiplePersonality specially have printed into fabric. I have this exact print in my etsy favorites, so to see it made into a fabric and then put into a pillow just for me is one of the kindest, most thoughtful things anyone has done. I can't stop marvelling over this absolutely perfect pillow!!

I wish I could express my deepest THANKS to Amy in a way to tell her how much this sweet pillow means to me! THANK you soooo much, my dear friend!!

Hope everyone is having a super fantastic Saturday!

I will select a winner December 12, and that winner will be entered to win a desk too (That drawing will be held on December 14 at Rachelle's Writing Spot)!

These are two separate items. The desktop is not a desk, it is designed to sit on a table or desktop and the drawers can be pulled open from either end. Click here to see more pictures and details of the EZ View Desktop. One of the newest products at The Original Scrapbox is this desk! It is designed with a clear, glass-like top and measures 50 x 25 x 31". The desktop has a good amount of work space, and 4 drawers with partitions for easy organizing - exactly what we all need :)

Here's the great part -- Your entries will help The Original Scrapbox give 2 of these desks to charity! How will The Original Scrapbox give back?

The Original Scrapbox will be tracking web traffic during the giveaway. When they reach 12, 000 hits during the giveaway they will donate a desk to the Friends of Utah County Children's Justice Center. This is a great facility working with abused children, giving them a safe and comfortable place to work through crisis.

And when they reach 25,000 hits during the giveaway they will also donate an EZ View Craft Desk to a charity nominated by you!!

To nominate a charity, please send an email to Rachelle with the name of your charitable organization.
